Having joined the Compagnons at 15, Gilles has explored joinery from every angle, from the traditional atelier to the demands of international luxury. His strength lies in a hybrid profile: after ten years at the bench, he spent seven in a design office mastering 2D/3D engineering.
Gilles understands the material while knowing how to set it down in drawings. At B.fabers, he translates the designer's intuition into technical solutions, guaranteeing the soundness and longevity of every creation: he designs the joints and systems that make our furniture repairable, and it is he who builds the reality of the artisan's gesture into the design from the outset.
